Fashion photographers have always taken it to the streets. It's not a novel idea to shoot fashion spreads in the big city, they've been doing it for decades and decades! And why not? The city has action, architecture, movement, sounds, I suppose it can make the clothes and the scene come alive. But when I saw this one spread by Alberta Ferretti of models in a subway car, it actually made me stop and think. I wasn't sure if I liked it or disliked it.

is quite a transformation for sure. Not sure for the better, but it does make you wonder what's the story behind the image, and after all, good art, as well as good art direction in photography, makes you ask questions.
