If you've happened to read my blog before, you might of read this post, where I proclaim my affinity for essential oils over perfumes. Primarily, that is because I prefer the smell of more earthy elements such as musk, sandalwoods, and patchouli's to strong florals. Hence, it's easier for me to create my own smells since there are few cosmetic companies producing musks anymore (Estee Lauder brought it to fashion with her Youth Dew, and Kiehl's has their Original Musk, Blend No. 1, which is great for men and women both). BUT, I was beyond excited when I discovered Tom Ford's new line of musk perfumes. I got a scent strip in a magazine this morning, and I never use those. They usually give me a headache and all the soap in the world won't get the smell off my wrist. But, when I saw the name Jasmine Musk underneath the name TOM FORD, I had to try it. Let me tell you this: it is deliciously wonderful. It smelled clean, fresh and feminine. It's modern too. Yum, Yum, Yum!
iPhone and Blackberry clutch
These Italian leather python-printed clutches are made especially to hold the iPhone or Blackberry, along with your credit cards and lipstick. I think this is a cute idea. It's basically a wallet big enough for your phone too, but a departure from your big "day-bag" for a night out.
