All I See are Spots!

I never tire of Leopard (or cheetah, or any animal print for that matter). I have had a leopard carpet (not the same one) in my home since my first apartment out of college. I remember my first piece of leopard print clothing was a vintage faux fur coat from the 1960's. It was cut like a blazer and I wore it out! I have NO idea where that is now. That was 20 years ago, and I have been a fan of animal prints ever since. In fashion and interiors, I think it adds just a little wild pop of personality that an outfit, or a room,  needs to keep it from looking boring.

I bought this fabric on Ebay, I think it is Cowtan & Tout. I was able to make two pillows out of the fabric. I love the way it looks against the 17th c Flemish tapestry pillows I made from two fragments (that used to cover chairs, so they were a good size) I found on-line too.

One of my very best girlfriends bought me this hat as a gift a few years ago. I love it. Want to add an instant "chic-factor" to your outfit? Put on a hat.

I thought it was a great idea to mix skins/animal patterns on the floor like these rugs look, when thrown together. I think Boutiques and Stores are great places to get ideas to use at home.

This is another pillow I made using fabric (needle-point animal print) that I bought on Ebay.  Here I also have it with old tapestry pillows. I use Cheetah/Leopard prints as a neutral.  Any print or pattern looks great against it. In this case, it's floral tapestry fragments.
