I came across these photo's of fashion designer Max Azria's home. In 2005 Azria and his wife bought the former Sidney Sheldon estate, which is a "White House inspired" home designed by Paul Williams. They have spent the last four years overhauling and updating the home, with the help of Los Angeles designer Aly Daly to transform the house from an old fashioned Georgian home to a Greek Revival style. They re-christened the estate
La Maison de Soleil. In June 2009, Harper's Bazaar did a feature on the homeowners and their newly decorated home. I have always liked Azria's clothes, from when he started BCBG, as well as since he took over the French Brand
Herve Leger, so it was interesting for me to see his style outside of the fashion arena.
This red-striped chair and round ottoman remind me of a Herve Leger bandage dress.
