The weather here is finally cool, the leaves are about to turn, people walk a little faster....Autumn's finally arrived! In Texas it usually jumps from Summer straight to Winter, so we really have to cherish each short week we have of fabulous fall!

The only time I've ever seen anything remotely as striking & beautiful as this was about 22 years ago. I was in Tennessee and Virginia during the changing of the leaves. I have never seen anything like it...the colors were brighter than any photo could ever capture. It leaves you speechless! I hope people that live in regions with colorful Autumns never take it for granted. Think of us people down here in Texas that jump from Heat Wave to Ice Storms in a matter of weeks.
