The master of beautiful shoes, Christian Louboutin, developed a striking ad campaign for Spring 2009, by incorporating his shoes (which are debatably works of art in themselves) into the Still Life genre.
Louboutin used the 17th and 18th century Dutch masters (in which this time was commonly referred to as The Golden Age of Dutch Art) and their still life paintings as inspiration. All I can say is WOW. It's almost hard to tell the ad from the real thing.... Click on some of the images to enlarge them. They deserve a closer look to appreciate the details.
