Birch Wood That Lasts

We changed our fireplaces last year to gas burning logs. Have you ever shopped for gas logs? It's not fun. Most of them are kinda cheesy and very unauthentic looking. We used the traditional cut logs in one of our fireplaces, but in the other one, I told my husband I wanted birch logs. I wasn't even sure if they made birch for gas logs, but I found them and I am thoroughly happy with them.

This is my birch set burning in my fireplace. What they forget to tell you is that once burning, they do leave a black residue on some logs, but I like it. I think it keeps it looking real. You can brush it off if you want, but we just leave it on. To purchase birch logs for gas fireplaces, go here.
