I left the freezing temperatures of home to go to sunny California, where I am headed to the College Football National Championship Game to watch the Texas Longhorns take on the University of Alabama's Crimson Tide. We arrived earlier this week at our hotel in Newport Beach, and this was the yummy plate, along with a bottle of wine, that was awaiting us....
Then, our hosts had us in their gorgeous home for dinner where we were greeted with this sign:
