This looks like a real horse doesn't it? But it is in fact a large statue, most likely made of Bisque Porcelain. I have never seen one this large. But I do like bisque, which is a white matte (sometimes coloured too) porcelain, not shiny at all. I came across some cute little animals like this at Quatrine in Dallas.
I love the birds of course, but the pitcher is so interesting to me. I purchased one similar from a consignment store a few months ago, shown below.
