Nighthawk Parodies

I know almost everyone has seen Edward Hoppers painting Nighthawks (1942). Even if you didn't know the name, you recognize the painting, right?

And if you almost recognize it, but you think there might of been an Elvis or Marilyn instead, then you recognize artist Gottfried Helnwein's take on Hopper's original, which he titled Boulevard of Broken Dreams (1984).

Well, there are alway famous art references in pop- culture, whether it be in contemporary art, television or advertisements. And there are no shortages or disappointments in the cultural references/parodies of this painting today. Some are really funny, and some are just totally absurd!
