Health experts are still focused on getting the cure for cancer, now evil attacks many human beings regardless of their age or condition.On this occasion, a group of U.S. experts found that a compound in broccoli, not only contains anticancer properties, but at the same time, can selectively kill cancer cells without affecting healthy cells.
This compound is known as sulforaphane and found in other cruciferous plants.
The researchers belong to the Oregon State University and determined, for the first time that this compound is safe and could be used to develop a treatment against the disease, particularly prostate and breast cancer.
